Description of the treatment:

At first glance, it may seem strange that this procedure based on medical aesthetic principles can be applied to all skin types.  But, if you look through the steps of the treatment, it becomes clear how it can meet the needs of all skin types.

The first step of the treatment is skin tightening and wrinkle reduction with Tripollar ® RF technology. Sagging skin and wrinkles are caused, among other things, by the loss of support of the skin’s connective tissue. The energy of the radiofrequency generates heat in the tissues, which has the immediate effect of tightening collagen fibres (a type of connective tissue fibre) and increasing the metabolism of fibroblasts, the cells that produce fibres, stimulating them to produce new fibres for longer-lasting effects.

The use of radiofrequency technology is not new in medicine or beauty care. The safety of this treatment has also increased significantly in recent decades. The Geneo® machine’s tripolar RF treatment allows precise targeting of tissue depth, and the treatment head also features an intelligent thermal sensor to ensure the safety of the client.

mazható ez az orvos-esztétikai elveken alapuló eljárás. De, ha végig nézzük a kezelés lépéseit egyértelművé válik, hogyan lehet megfelelni minden bőrtípus igényeinek.

A kezelés első lépése a bőr feszesítése, ránctalanítása Tripollar ® RF technológiával.

The second step of the treatment is Oxygeneo. In this phase, we actually perform three treatment steps at the same time, such as

exfoliation, which gently removes dead skin cells

oxygenation, each capsule contains citric acid and bicarbonate of soda. These two compounds react to form carbon dioxide on the surface of the skin. In a physiological process called the Bohr effect, when CO2 in a tissue increases, the haemoglobin in the blood in that area releases more of the O2 molecules it transports. As a result, the cells in the treated area will be better oxygenated. Better oxygenation leads to more intensive metabolic processes, so that the absorption of the active substances ingested is also improved. Oxygeneo therefore naturally increases the oxygen supply to the skin.

the absorption of active ingredients into the skin. Oxypods are not only able to perform the previous two functions, but are also rich in effective ingredients.

This triple action works together to leave skin soft, radiant and nourished.

But, it doesn’t end there..

In the third step of the treatment, the active ingredients continue to be injected into the skin, but this time using ultrasound. Each Oxypod comes with a synergistic serum. One of the effects of ultrasound is to enhance the absorption of the active ingredients through biological membranes, such as the cell membrane of the skin cells, so that they are delivered faster and into deeper tissue layers. It also enhances blood supply to the tissues and performs micromassage through its mechanical action

An overview of the different Oxypods and serums and how their formulation can meet the needs of different skin types:

Balance Oxypod and Serum

The Balance Oxypod and Serum tackles the problems of oily, acne-prone skin.

  • to combat excessive sebum production, oxypod’s activated charcoal content is the first to act, adsorbing and binding sebum accumulated on the skin, which is also removed by the salicylic acid in the serum.
  • one of the ingredients responsible for combating acne is the mandelic acid component of Balance oxypod, which exfoliates the skin’s surface gently, thus treating the remaining spots of acne with good efficacy. This effect is also enhanced and complemented by salicylic acid, as it can also penetrate the pores to remove dead skin cells. In addition, both acids have anti-inflammatory properties. Balance Serum is rich in peptides that target acne, such as oligopeptide-10.
  • oily skin also needs hydration and nourishment. This is provided by the moisturising oils in the Balance serum, such as argan oil, shea butter and jojoba oil.
  • and antioxidants such as Camu camu extract, vitamin C and naringenin protect the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals.

Hydrate oxypod and serum

The Hydrate oxypod and serum helps dry, dehydrated skin, but is also perfect for mature, ageing skin, which loses moisture as it ages. The middle layer of the skin, the dermis, is built up by loose fibrous connective tissue. Its base contains a significant amount of water and water-binding substances such as hyaluronic acid. It also contains the fibres of the dermis, such as collagen fibres. Collagen is a swelling protein that binds water to itself. Properly hydrated fibres give the skin its firmness. In addition to collagen fibres, other fibres in the dermis, elastic and reticular fibres, also have water-binding properties. As we age, the number of fibres decreases and with it their water-binding role. Free radicals are also involved in the reduction of fibre. All these factors show that a firm, supple, radiant complexion requires the constant presence of water, of the substances like fibres that bind and retain water well and therefore, when their quantity decreases, they need to be replaced. How does this oxypod and serum do this? It is therefore necessary to have:

  • hydrating, water-binding substances: such as those found in oxypod: trehalose, Spirulina extract and Gotu cola extract, lactobionic acid. The latter also has a mild exfoliating effect. In the serum, moisturising oils such as argan oil, marula oil, shea butter and hyaluronic acid ensure that water is retained and the skin is hydrated.
  • substances that stimulate collagen synthesis: such as niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3), Gotu cola extract, which are found in Hydrate oxypod.
  • antioxidants, which protect against free radicals. The active ingredients in the serum include naringenin and vitamin E.

Illuminate oxypod and serum

Illuminate oxypod and serum addresses the symptoms of sun-damaged, hyperpigmented skin.

Hyperpigmentation is when there is an increase in the production of melanin. Melanin is necessary, it protects the body against the damaging effects of UV rays. A problem occurs when it is produced in abnormal amounts and distributed unevenly. External causes of pigment spots include excessive sun exposure, tanning beds, photosensitising chemicals, while internal causes include hormonal changes, certain diseases (e.g. liver disease) and inflammation of the skin. The fading of established pigment spots can be achieved by exfoliation and inhibition of melanin production.

  • lactobionic acid in the Illuminate oxypod is a gentle exfoliant, a polyhydroxy acid. It gently removes the top layer of the epidermis to reduce the colour of pigment spots. It also has an excellent moisturising effect. And the kojic acid and alpha-arbutin in oxypod inhibit melanin production. In addition, stabilized forms of vitamin C help to fade pigment spots, among many other effects, such as enhancing collagen synthesis.
  • Illuminate serum continues the processes initiated by the initiated by the oxypod. The serum puts additional melanin inhibiting compounds into the battle to fade. And, of course, it’s also rich in moisturisers and antioxidants.

Revive oxypod and serum

Revive oxypod and serum aims to reduce the visible – but unwanted – signs of ageing. What are they? Ageing skin cells lose water and cellular function slows as well, due to damage caused by free radicals. The skin’s epidermis thins and becomes dry. In the dermis, the fibre-producing cells produce less collagen and the amount of hyaluronic acid in the intercellular layer of the connective tissue is reduced. All these combine to result in less firm, wrinkled skin.

  • Revive oxypod fights the visible signs of ageing with active ingredients such as red algae extract, retinyl palmitate and retinol. Retinyl palmitate and retinol work to achieve less wrinkled, firmer skin by boosting collagen production.

And its caffeic and ferulic acids act as antioxidants to fight the damaging effects of free radicals.

  • peptides in Revive serum also boost collagen production to reduce wrinkles. The ingredients of argan oil, shea butter and jojoba oil nourish, hydrate and soothe the skin. While its naringenin and vitamin E content continues the fight against free radicals.

Glam oxypod and serum

The Glam oxypod and serum is also an effective shaper for mature, older skin. Like Revive Oxypod and Serum, it works to reduce the signs of ageing, but with different active ingredients.

  • Glam oxypod contains carnosine, silk powder and gold for a refined, radiant complexion. Carnosine is a dipeptide produced by the body itself. Among the effects of this molecule on the skin, its role as a geroprotector is worth highlighting. This means that carnosine slows down the ageing process by reducing the shortening of the ends of chromosomes, called telomeres. According to some theories of ageing, the telomeres of chromosomes protect the DNA every time it divides, but at the same time, telomeres are shortened every time it divides. And when the telomere runs out, the DNA is no longer protected, leading to the cell’s inability to divide and it dies.
  • the nourishing, moisturising oils in the Glam serum include marula oil and rosehip oil, the latter of which reduces hyperpigmentation and wrinkles, and is also very good at fighting free radicals thanks to its vitamin C content. The serum’s hyaluronic acid content increases skin hydration and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

Detox oxypod and serum

Detox oxypod and serum offers younger skin a treatment that helps it stay fresh, supple and well conditioned for longer.

  • Detox oxypod protects the skin with powerful antioxidants, such as green tea extract, while its copper gluconate content supports cell regeneration and has a role in regulating sebum production. More information on the effects of green tea extract can be found in point 2 of this article under the EGCG paragraph: here
  • Detox Serum is a high moisturising and nourishing oil, with allantoin and vitamin E to protect young, luminous skin. Allantoin is a compound found in many herbs, including comfrey. Its skin benefits include anti-inflammatory action and accelerated sloughing of dead skin cells.

Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant to keep young skin looking fresh and healthy for as long as possible.

Neomassage makes the treatment with Geneo complete. Attached to the Oxypod treatment head, the fine silicone massage pads and vibrations produced by the treatment unit provide a soothing relaxation experience, as well as a mild lymphatic cleansing and excess lymphatic drainage effect.
